Follie’s Journey
It feels like just yesterday that Follie opened its doors, yet here we are, 20 incredible years later! Follie has been my heart’s project that started with a dream and a tiny pink shopfront in the heart of Lincoln’s Bailgate.
I’m Josie, the incredibly proud owner of Follie, and from day one, my goal has been simple: to bring joy through unique, beautiful, and thoughtfully curated treasures that speak to the heart. Over the years, we’ve become more than just a shop—we’ve grown into a beloved part of the community and for that I am so thankful.
Follie’s journey has been filled with laughs, (a few) challenges, and so many moments of pure joy. From being featured in House & Garden to winning the Best Independent Retailer in Midlands & Wales at The Greats Awards, our story has been a mix of highs and a few tears, but every moment has been 100%, totally worth it.
As we hit the two-decade mark, this celebration is a heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey—whether you’ve popped by for a quick browse and a chat or filled your home with our treasures. Your support and friendship means the absolute world to me.

I’ve ALWAYS had the dream of creating a range of exclusive ‘Follie’ products. This year, as Follie turns twenty, I'm turning dreams into reality. What began as a quiet hope has blossomed into an exciting, real-life collection.
Over the last six months, I've collaborated closely with some incredible makers to create a limited-edition series of unique, bespoke items. Each piece in this collection is a testament to the spirit of Follie—crafted with love, designed with care, and intended to celebrate our cherished milestones.

Giving back...
Each purchase from this exclusive line directly supports two causes very close to my heart: St Barnabas Hospice and Blood Cancer UK.
St Barnabas Hospice has touched countless lives in Lincolnshire, providing compassionate care to those at life's most challenging times.
Blood Cancer UK holds a personal significance as they continue to pioneer research and support for blood cancer patients, including my courageous father. Their work gives hope and strength to many, including our family.

olive + daisy
For over a decade, Olive & Daisy have been delighting us with their beautifully printed linen wash bags and accessories. Louise, the creative force behind Olive & Daisy, designs all the fabrics which are printed in the UK and handmade in their Lincolnshire Wolds studio. For our anniversary, Louise has reimagined one of her stunning designs in a new colour exclusively for Follie, creating pieces that are not only flipping gorgeous but also heartfelt.
Ethel & Co
Based in Nottinghamshire, Ethel & Co is the brainchild of Corina, who has been a pillar of support throughout our journey. Known for the heavenly scents that fill our shop, we collaborated to develop a signature Follie candle, blending essential oils to capture the essence of comfort and uplift that Follie represents.
the Braided Rug Company
A Welsh treasure, the Braided Rug Company has adorned our floors and hearts with their beautiful jute homewares for over a decade. For this special collection, they've created a bespoke version of their popular designs: the Follie heart coaster, combining simplicity with rustic charm.
Last True Angel
Initially a non-jewellery store, Follie’s transformation is largely thanks to the dazzling array Kate from Last True Angel brings. For the anniversary, Kate went above and beyond, helping us select a brooch that embodies sparkle and vintage charm, perfect for celebrating twenty years of Follie.
