If you love a little after-dark sparkle, our Late-Night Christmas Shopping evenings are back! ✨

Throughout November and December we’ll be keeping the door to our pink shop open a little later, on selected dates, for some cosy, twinkly evening shopping. Think: festive music, gift inspiration, beautiful decorations and the most magical atmosphere in uphill Lincoln at night.

We’ll be open seven days a week as usual in the run-up to Christmas, but on the dates below we’ll be staying open until 7:30pm so you can shop at a gentler pace, make a night of it with friends, or pop in after work while you’re out enjoying the festive events happening nearby.

• Friday 21st November – to coincide with the start of "Lincoln Castle Illuminated"

• Thursday 27th November – Uphill Christmas Light Switch-On and The Lion & Snake Live Music

• Thursday 4th December – December evening browsing

• Saturday 6th December – Lincoln Ice Adventure Trail weekend in uphill Lincoln

• Thursday 11th December – twinkly Thursday shopping

• Thursday 18th December – our final late-night before Christmas

November in Lincoln...

The clocks have gone back, the days are drawing in, and after half term, Halloween and all things pumpkin-shaped, November brings a new kind of magic to Lincoln.

Before the full Christmas bustle arrives, November is filled with heart-warming community moments, seasonal gatherings and local treasures to enjoy. From local craft fairs and farmers markets to the heartwarming St Barnabas Light Up a Life procession, the enchanting Castle Illuminated Walk, the return of late-night shopping at Follie, and the much anticipated Uphill Lincoln Christmas Lights Switch-On.

We’ve rounded up some of the loveliest things happening in and around Lincoln this month, including the Wreath Festival at St Mary Magdalene and, as November waves us into December, the deliciously festive Lincolnshire Food & Gift Fair.

October.: Autumn's in the air...

I forget how lovely autumn is until it's all of a sudden here; the leaves are turning, the air’s got that crisp edge, but there are still plenty of gorgeous days to enjoy before the clocks change at the end of the month & there's plenty to choose from in this month's Follie guide; we head strait in to a first weekend of culture, crafts & physical tests of endurance with the Lincoln Half Marathon. Then the weekend after you can fill your boots at the ever-popular Sausage Festival, celebrating the world famous Lincolnshire Sausage. And as the nights draw in, things take a spookier turn with pumpkin cannons, scarecrows, monstersm ghost trains and an outdoor Halloween cinema to finish the month with a bit of fun (and a few chills!).
