July is here...

Between the sunshine, the heat, and a slightly over-enthusiastic barbecue at the weekend (we’ve all been there!), it’s taken me a moment to pull this guide together - but here is Follie's compact guide to what's on this month.

The days are getting longer, the calender is filling up and Lincolnshire is officially out to play this month. June brings all the things we do brilliantly; county shows, brass bands, charity tractor runs & inflatable races, soapbox karts tearing over cobbles, big-name concerts, local history exhibitions, community fetes and summer fairs - there’s something happening in every corner. I’ve done my best to narrow down a few of our favourite picks and I’m definitely planning to make it to at least a couple. How about you?

May - A Month of Lincolnshire History & Heritage

If you're a fan of history, then May is your month - and Follie's here for it! From Roman Centurions & Vikings to tea dances & vintage cars; the brilliant Lincoln Festival of History is back for it's second year and it's bigger & better than with a packed schedule of events, bringing the past to life in spectacular style and the perfect lead up to the VE Day 80th Anniversary celebrations. We'll also be celebrating our glorious Lincolnshire countryside, incredible local food producers and artisans, as well as welcoming 100's of elite cyclists and their fans, for the thrilling Lincoln Cycle Grand Prix
